I just wrapped up breakfast after spending the past couple of days at the Grand Canyon. I arrived in the late afternoon on Saturday and spent yesterday exploring the South Rim of the Canyon.
The Grand Canyon is beautiful but, when I visit it again, I would like to do a Jeep or helicopter tour as it is so massive that it’s near impossible to see on foot.
The ride out here from Vegas was hot and dry on roads that only offered straightaways and gentle, sweeping curves. Again, traffic speeds were high and traffic enforcement consisted only of LED Board signs that read, “Hey, that’s the temperature, not the speed limit!”
Today, I have a short, 100 mile ride South to Sedona for the night, where I’ve booked a massage and need to find a barbershop.
